The Purpose Within

By – Kayode Ipadeola

Your actions have the power to alter the future of the entire world.

Do I have a purpose?

Why was I even created?

What’s my calling?

What am I supposed to do?

Have you ever asked yourself any of these questions – I bet you have. We all have. In one way, we’ve thought of the reasons for our existence. Consciously or unconsciously.

We all have a purpose- in fact, a special an unique purpose. No human is an empty barrel. The answers are right inside us all. If only we will search deep into our being. If only we will make up our mind that until we realize our purpose, only then would we be in rest.

Though you may not fully understand your purpose, your part is just as important as the greatest kings and queens of this planet. Some feel as though their temporary lack of wealth or influence makes them powerless to create change. But does a clockmaker favor the larger gears over the smaller? Does the hour hand become jealous of the minutes because it turns slower? Every part has a role in the functioning of a timepiece. Every part supports those around it in ways it may never see. Your absence would undo the Order of our universe, even if you do not realize your importance.

The world began before you and will continue after you, but it will be different because of the decisions you made.

Every generation inherits the world left by the one before it, just as a king inherits the crown of his father. Your pursuit of knowing your purpose could lay the foundation for your great-great-grandchilds rise into greatness the same descendant who might steer a country from war and save lives by the millions. Did the ancestors of Aristotle or Alexander The Great know who their actions would create?

Though you will never understand the full influence of your actions, the results of your dedication to contributing your part to the world are still yours to claim. After all, if left unclaimed till death- the impact you didn’t make remains void and space will forever be left un-contained and unfilled. Once you walk upon the surface of this earth without accomplishing your purpose, it’s more like a waste of lifetime it’s merely a waste of existence. You’re to climb the great ladder seeking the purpose of your existence, for at the top of the ladder, you will look down later on and see what an integral part you’ve been to mankind. You’ll realize how much of the world’s most intricate mechanism you are. Only then will you find fulfillment in life. But until then, you’re to keep striving to know the space you’re supposed to fill before time slips by you.

Don’t forget- “uneasy lies the head that wearthe crown,” in this context, this means that you’ve got to work hard, endure much, and persevere much more. You should know that you are a god not an ordinary fish head. You are a little god created for a special purpose that no one else can fulfill. It’s called PURPOSE!! Do you feel me?
