Fola Orebiyi, 17-year-old Nigerian student studying in the UK has been murdered in cold blood in Notting Hill, West London after fleeing from a gang of youths.
Reports revealed that the student who was studying A levels at Chelsea Academy after completing his GCSEs at Holland Park and who had been severely stabbed collapsed and bleed to death on the pavement of Portobello Road, Notting Hill, despite paramedics’ efforts to save him.
According to the reports, a witness stated that a fight broke out in a nearby estate before the student was chased, attacked in the busy road and stabbed in the neck.
It added that the boy’s family have been told of the student tragic death while the Met Police immediately launched a murder investigation with officers from Homicide and Major Crime Command investigating reports of the fight in the nearby estate.
“All we have been told is that he was stabbed in the neck. His mum is distraught. we are all struggling to understand what happened,” said a family member.
