This time last year was the birth of myefiko.com which was developed from the need to make education very involving, innovative, and fun.
We wanted to dispel the traditional view of ‘boring’ education and to build a global education community and that we have been doing.
Our goal is to create and provide learning opportunities for everybody, in a fun and value adding way. For us, education and learning is a continuous process, thus we are keen on creating collaborations within the education ecosystem.
Thus we created Myefiko Academy, our creativity and writing platform which has grown extensively with over 20
writers from different campuses in the nation.
We ensured that they improved their writing and communication skills, showcased their talent to a wide audience and earned some money for their work.
We participated in the 2016 edition of the AIESEC National congress which witnessed a large turnout of students from across Nigeria and neighboring countries and we made our presence felt with the launch of Myefiko Academy.
Myefiko took its campaigns to the streets of Abuja and penetrated the University Of Lagos with our vox pox specials on trending topics in the academic world.
At the launch of this platform on the first of February 2016, we started off with 52 users (which means unique visitors), 768 page views and 87 sessions ( meaning a group of interactions that take place on a website within a given time frame).
Fast forward to 1st February 2017, we grow to 18361 User, 229799 page-view, and 32025 sessions.
As it is usual for startup, we have had our own share of up and downs but it’s been an amazing journey and we couldn’t have gone this far without you, our followers.
We thank you for your followership as we strive to give you the best.
